  • Born to a single unwed mother in 1976 in South Louisiana
  • Mother prays to God “If you take care of me and John, I will give him back to you.”
  • Baptized, confirmed, and raised as a Roman Catholic
  • Prayed a prayer to receive Christ at age 12
  • Lived a wild unrepentant life from age 14-19
  • Entered US Navy as a Hospital Corpsman (Medic)
  • Great Lakes, San Diego, Jacksonville, Pensacola, Sasebo
  • Truly received Christ while in Navy at age 20 through a cell leader from Bethany WPC
  • Baptized at Household of Faith Church in Louisiana
  • Part of the historic Brownsville Revival in Florida (1996-1997)
  • Had powerful personal encounters with the Holy Spirit
  • Called into ministry through Isaiah 6:8
  • Served in youth ministry at Liberty Church in Pensacola, FL
  • Sent on overseas duty to live in Sasebo, Japan for 2 1/2 years
  • Traveled throughout Southeast Asia and the Middle East
  • Japan, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, UAE, Bahrain
  • Served as Navy “Protestant Layleader” and Evangelist
  • Took first missions trip during military leave to Cebu, Philippines
  • Called into cross cultural missions ministry to unreached peoples (Okinawa)

  • Sent out as Freedom House Church’s first long term pioneer missionary family
  • Left America for Khon Kaen, Thailand in March of 2009 (one year later)
  • Worked with veteran missionaries Bill and Julie Hughes in Isaan village work
  • Served River of Life Church and Prateep Church in Khon Kaen
  • Served Khon Kaen International Church under Mission SOS of Sweden
  • Took missions trips out of Thailand to Laos and India to preach and serve local leaders
  • Designed and published our ministry site www.spreadtheflame.com
  • Finished and published Thai language outreach web site www.kwamrak.org
  • Held our first Thai leader’s training as part of SEANET Isaan regional group
  • Studied Thai language at College of Asian Scholars in Khon Kaen
  • Moved our family to Chiang Mai Thailand October 2010
  • Finished translation on first Gospel portion in Thai called “Invitation to the Kingdom”
  • Partnered with Christian Outreach Centre Thailand, Revolutionary Life, and The Centre
  • Completed renovation of Christian Outreach Centre’s web site: www.cocthailand.com
  • Began evangelism on the streets of Chiang Mai December 2010
  • Hired Thai Ministry Assistant and Fellow Evangelist, Phichai
  • Began Working With Fellow Missionary, B. Jones, on Context Sensitive Witness
  • Shot training video with Create International
  • Moved from Thailand to Pasadena, CA
  • Joined the staff of the Frontier Mission Fellowship & US Center for World Mission
