    Thai is one of those languages where nothing is like English. The alphabet, structure, ways of speaking are all different. There is a whole different specialized vocabulary that expresses religious thought as well as formal situations. This is one of the most frustrating aspects of missionary life and will generally make or break a person's effectiveness long term.
