Ted Haggard and Life Lessons on Integrity and True Success

house-of-cardsToday HBO will air the “Trials of Ted Haggard”, a documentary about the former pastor of New Life church in Colorado Springs who was brought down because of a secret lifestyle of sexual immorality/homosexuality and drug use.

He lived this secret life all while leading a congregation of over 12,000 members, being president of the National Association of Evangelicals which represents more than 60 denominations, 45,000 churches, and tens of millions of people, and having the ear of the White House under President Bush.

What is striking to me about this reality is the sheer magnitude of the numbers and power Continue Reading…

A Word For the Days We Live In

I’ve been listening to David Wilkerson of Time Square Church today.  He has been ministering for over 50 years and his church in Times Square represents over 100 nations.  He is, in my opinion, one of the most Godly men alive today.  He has warned of a coming economic crisis in America for decades.  He definately has the law of “EF Hutton” going on…you know…”when EF Hutton speaks people listen.”

Here is a recent message from him that really ministered to me today.  In addition to this, I ran across this quote that I want to share with you.  It really convicted me.  Conviction is not a bad word to me…it is God’s permission to change and set things right.  I have always thought to myself, especially when it comes to Biblical correction, if the shoe fits…wear it.

Struggling…Clinging…Resting

I’ve been reading a book called “Rees Howells Intercessor” by Norman Grubb over the past few days.  It’s about a Welsh coal miner who God used mightily around the beginning of last century.  In his life, he demonstrated what it means to be fully surrendered to the Spirit of God.  The lessons he teaches through his life stories are profound and sometimes shaking.

What My Obedience To God Costs Other People

As you may imagine my mind has been in many different places lately since we returned from our trip.  I am probably still digesting everything we saw and heard as we traveled through Florida, Louisiana, Mexico, Nicaragua, New Jersey, and North Carolina.   I have also just recently finished up six college courses and have been steadily working on things pertaining to our upcoming move to Thailand.  We only have six weeks until we leave the US and there is still much to be done!  I appreciate your prayers and support for our family.

One of the other things that I’ve been thinking about is how our decision to do this type of work for God has affected other people in our lives; from friends, to relatives, and even to people we meet with for the first time and share our story with. Continue Reading…

Prophetic Word For Thailand

I was just sent this recent prophetic word concerning Thailand.  Weigh it as you would do anything like it, but I feel that it is a good word!  The part from Chuck Pierce about a new apostolic movement is very exciting.  This is what Bill Hughes, myself, and others in Thailand have been talking about and positioning for.  Also, the part about Thailand being a major sending nation is something I shared with someone just the other day.   Below is what I received just today:

PROPHECY AT STARTING YOUR YEAR OFF RIGHT CONFERENCE:
