I recently had a chance to spend some time with a mentor and friend, Dr. Michael Brown, as he filled in on the radio for the well known evangelical radio personality, Stu Epperson. Once we hit the studio, Dr. Brown took to the radio format like a duck to water. He talked about revival and how to discern a true move of God.

It is great to see Dr. Brown in this format among evangelical giants like Ravi Zacharias, Greg Laurie, Charles Stanley, Chuck Swindoll, and even John MacArthur and Hank Hanegraaf.

Doc may be the only Charismatic background speaker in the whole station lineup.  He is definately up for the challenge and the station seems eager for the diversity that Dr. Brown brings.  Whether you agree with his perspective or not, at least there will never be a lack of things to talk about!

If you know Dr. Brown, you will know that he has his hands in a lot of things at once; writing Bible commentaries, debating, confronting social issues, encouraging ministers overseas, leading a Bible college, giving interviews on hot button topics, preaching on Jesus revolution around the country, writing and recording TV programs, and even taking time to hang with former students among many other things!

Now on June 30, his new radio show, the Line of Fire, will begin airing live, Mon-Fri, 7:00-8:00 PM EST. Doc will have to reorient his heavy schedule to accomodate a new schedule of 5 days a week on the radio!

Anyone can listen to the streaming audio at, and you can call in with questions or comments at 1-866-34TRUTH. Listen when you can, and give then give him a call! As many of you know, Dr. Brown is glad to tackle the controversies and take on the hot button issues.

The show is starting on eight-ten stations (including parts of NC, VA, FL, UT, and CO), and hopefully soon to be added…Sirius Satellite!

You can also listen to past shows and get involved on the blog at (click on the Line of Fire).

Keep Dr. Brown in your prayers as he moves into this new level of communication and influence for the Kingdom of God!
